Angelina is CIPFA's Assistant Director for policy and technical, overseeing policy work on central government, financial management, health, social care, welfare reform, audit, pensions, charities and social enterprise as well as sustainability.

Angelina joined in January 2014 on secondment from DWP. She is a member of the Civil Service Future Leaders Scheme, and has an economics and policy background. She is also becoming CIPFA qualified. Over the last few years, she has held a number of strategy posts within DWP covering areas such as child poverty, housing benefit policy, universal credit and horizon scanning. Most recently she headed up the Task and Finish Group for the HMT-led Efficiency Review.

At CIPFA she has been leading our health strategy, which includes a series of national roundtable discussions on integration, supporting the Future Focused Finance programme in the NHS and working with Mike Farrar on CIPFA Health's thought leadership programme.
