This series of CIPFA Benefits and Revenues Service (CBRS) Benefits events initially concentrated on the processes for effective administration of overpayments. Dealing with overpayments has always been an important part of benefits administration containing, as it does, a number of financial penalties, incentives and other implications, and is currently being subject to increased focus with new initiatives such as data-matching and the new FERIS scheme.
