PRINCE2® for the public sector E-learning

Study PRINCE2® – the project management standard in the UK – with a public sector slant, with CIPFA.

About the programme

The PRINCE2® project management methodology is the accepted standard for project management in the UK and is practised worldwide. It covers the management, control and organisation of a project. For the full accreditation you must complete two stages:

  • Foundation Level – comprises a sound development of project management methodology, working through the project lifecycle from pre-project preparation to project closure.
  • Practitioner Level – progresses this to an understanding of the practical application of the methodology.

Online support includes unique public sector case studies, a project professional e-helpline and e-learning revision quiz.

What will I learn?

You will gain a greater control of resources, learn to effectively manage business and project risks and increase your value. At an organisational level, instilling PRINCE2 methodology allows:

  • a common, consistent approach to projects and a controlled and organised start, middle and end
  • regular reviews of progress against the plan and assurance that the project continues to have a business justification
  • flexible decision points and management control of any deviations from the plan
  • the involvement of management and stakeholders at the right time and place during the project.

  • Flexible learning – rather than the three or five days in the classroom, learning can be at a time to suit you.
  • Great value for money – £950 for the full course, rather than £1,550 for the non-web based traditional course
  • Reduced time away from the office – plus travel costs and possibly overnight accommodation eliminated
  • Public sector case studies – added value good practice guidance and examples in the public sector
  • Project professional e-helpline – exclusive access to a PRINCE2 manager and project manager professional
  • Online, useful revision tool – plus a PRINCE2 e-learning quiz is also available to help your study.
