About this event
The public sector spends several billion pounds annually on procuring construction projects (accounts for nearly 40% of UK construction industry turnover) and having ideal arrangements in place allows commercial risks to be managed and ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
The Procurement Act 2023 and supporting Regulations introduce a plethora of new rules and practices which practitioners will need to get to grips to be able to procure works contract after October this year. This event will offer delegates detailed and practical explanation of what and how the current procedures relating to works contract (including how the PA23 provisions will apply to standard works contracts) need to be updated.
Who should attend
The webinar will support heads of procurement, senior finance, procurement lawyers, project managers, senior auditors and contract managers who support the development, design and procurement of construction projects.
