CIPFA delivers all exams on Rogo, our online e-assessment platform.
Remote invigilation
Remote invigilation is the standard option for all students.
You can sit your exam at home, or your place of work. CIPFA exams are invigilated remotely by an online proctor, organised by CIPFA.
Local invigilation
Local invigilation is available only for students in pre-approved exam centres, and whose learning has taken place with a CIPFA Approved Training Provider (ATP) or for students who have received prior approval through the Reasonable Adjustment and Extenuating Circumstances process. Where a student is sitting through local invigilation, exams are invigilated in-person, by an appropriate member of staff from your organisation.
Access to Rogo
Within 24 hours of your exam booking, you will receive access to the Rogo exam platform where you can book your exam start time and select remote invigilation, unless you have had prior CIPFA approval for local invigilation, as per the policy mentioned above.
You will also receive full instructions on our exam process, including system requirements and testing your equipment prior to the exam.
Reasonable Adjustments
You can apply for reasonable adjustments should you have any learning, physical, social or health issues that could impact your exam performance. Applications must be submitted ahead of your exam. For further information on how to apply, please visit our Reasonable adjustments page.
