CIPFA is now offering a mixture of in person, online and hybrid conferences and training as we monitor the effects of COVID-19 on live events. CIPFA’s 2023 Public Finance Live will return to London at the QEII Centre on 27-28 June.
This two-day conference is aimed at professionals working in public finance and accountancy in the UK and globally and will include a combination of keynote speakers, plenaries, panel debate and special-interest focus streams.
Our last Public Finance event of the year took place on 17 November 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff. This too was our first face to face conference in Wales post pandemic and explored the Future of Public Sector Finance through a variety of workshops and addresses from our talented speakers.

The latest Northern Ireland conference took place on the 18 October at Stormont Hotel, Belfast. The 2022 conference theme is the Future of Public Sector Finance and explored how finance professionals are vital to delivering for our citizens, now and in the future.
This was CIPFA's first face-to-face conference in Northern Ireland since 2019.
The Scottish annual conference took place 21–22 September at Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow.
The theme for the 2022 conference theme was the Future of Public Sector Finance, exploring how finance professionals are vital in continuing to deliver public services. This was our first face-to-face event in Scotland since 2019.

CIPFA Public Finance Live 2022
CIPFA’s flagship annual conference took place at ACC Liverpool on 13-14 July 2022.
The conference took place over two days and consisted of workshops and plenaries that covered topics from climate change to digital fraud and was the first face to face conference since 2020.
