Shareholders' agreement

17-03-2017

A shareholders’ agreement is a contract between the shareholders of a company in which they agree how the company will be governed and run. Typically, when a group of public bodies decide to set up a trading company (company limited by shares), they should consider drafting a shareholders’ agreement, to avoid unnecessary issues and disputes at a later stage.
