whistleblowing code of practice

19-02-2014

The Whistleblowing Commission published its report in November 2013.  One of the key recommendations was that organisations should adopt a recommended code of practice.

The code sets out standards for effective whistleblowing arrangements. It is designed to help  employers, workers and their representatives deal with whistleblowing more effectively.

A copy of the code can be downloaded.  A link to the Public Concern at Work website is also provided, where the Commission's report can be read in full.

Public Concern at Work will be speaking about the code at Better Governance Forum workshops in February and March 2014. BGF subscribers will be able to download a copy of the presentation after the events have completed.
