This was a practical workshop for internal auditors helping them to keep up to date with new professional developments in audit, including the current consultation on plans for the International Professional Practices Framework. The workshop helped auditors consider how they are adapting their audit strategy in an environment of resource pressures.
The workshop included professional standards updates from Keeley Lund, Technical Manager at CIPFA and considered the practical issues around providing an internal audit service that is in conformance with the standards, whilst dealing with the resourcing pressures facing the public services.
