Retired members

Retired members have made an important contribution to the smooth running of the CIPFA Northern Ireland Branch over the years and continue to play an important part.

Some retired members have contributed to the Branch by volunteering in a wide variety of areas such as the Events Sub-Group and areas such as invigilation.

Retired members are welcome to register their interest in volunteering for the Branch. Please contact Jonathan Adams, Chair of the Branch, for further information or to declare an interest.

Retired members

Kieran Donnelly

On July 8 2022, Kieran Donnelly, the Comptroller and Auditor General for Northern Ireland since 2009, retired from the Northern Ireland Audit Office after a career of almost 40 years in auditing.

The CIPFA NI Branch would like to thank Kieran, a CIPFA member, for his long and distinguished service to the public sector in Northern Ireland and wish him well for his retirement.
