On 26 November, the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne gave his Autumn Statement speech and published documents on the Autumn Statement and the spending review 2015. The Home Secretary Theresa May and Policing Minister Mike Penning then wrote to all police and crime commissioners (PCCs) and chief constables setting out further detail.
