GDPR and Public Sector Contracts

This new series of workshops took a detailed and practical look at the impending implementation (from 25 May 2018) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is a major milestone moment in data protection law. The workshop addressed the potentially significant impact of GDPR on public sector procurement and contracts. It covered the key changes GDPR will introduce to the current data protection rules, explained how contracts should be reviewed and updated as well bring you up to speed with all the latest guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office.

The workshop supported procurement, commissioners, finance, solicitors, project managers, auditors and contract managers who need a working knowledge of GDPR and contracts. The workshops offered an update on the latest guidance behind this significant change in legislation and helped to ensure that your compliance programme is on track and provided an opportunity to raise any outstanding issues with GDPR experts.
