Welsh Government publishes research paper on possible longer-term reforms to Council Tax

The Welsh Government has recently published a research paper that considers the possibility of longer-term reforms to the council tax system in Wales by introducing a locally administered tax based on the assessments of people’s income. The report was commissioned by the Welsh Government as part of a suite of research relating to local taxation in Wales.
